HOW TO PREP FOR YOUR SESSION

Session Goals

Ask yourself a few questions. What are your goals for your session? What do you want to use the photos for? Your website Social media? What are your must have shots? It’s so important to have a clear vision for your session.

Brand Personality

Location, props and styling all help define your brand and your business. Infuse the photos with your personality by wearing colors that complement your brand colors. Same goes for location and props - choose locations that make sense for your brand and use props that help tell your story.

Clothes

Choose clothes that make you feel good. Something a little more special than what you wear everyday (for me that’s easy since I live in yoga pants.) So maybe even A LOT more special. Accessorize. The little details matter. Test drive your outfits to see how they feel when you move around. We want you to feel pretty and confident

Hair + Makeup

Plan ahead. If you aren’t comfortable doing your own hair and makeup then make an appointment with a professional. Or with a talented friend! Either way, you want to look and feel your best. And I’m always happy to recommend someone!
